Dear Evoers,
On the 8th of April I announced that there would be a public vote for the 7 existing places of the Game Helper status. Out of the 16 new applicants and the 5 existing game helpers, I asked that each new applicant present a statement and answer three questions commonly asked by new players.
As well as counting the public's votes via the original forum and via PM, I have also judged each of the applicants answers by their suitability, presentation and knowledge.
Without further delay I now announce the new Game Helpers:

I would like to personally thank everyone for participating in the vote, and giving me your personal opinions on the campaignees. For all the applicants who didnt make the final seven, you all have a place in the evolution community to help in the new players forum when you can, your help in making new players feel welcome and giving them friendly advice will help the evolution community greatly.

Im sure all of those who applied wanted the position, as its a commitment to new members to reply to the same questions over and over and still have the care and patience required. It was not a waste of anyones time and those who didn't get the position can still contribute by listening out in the new players forum.

Thanks everyone. I'm sorry to see acouple of the people I voted for didn't make the list, but I know they're good people and will continue to help new people without needing that extra little tag. I'm glad to be in such a position to help people out, it's been a while since I've been a more active part of helping/training new people. I don't know about everyone else, but I am very active here and am usually available 16 or so hours a day most days (internet at work is helpful, though at work it's just through PMs and forums I can communicate, at home add IRC to ways to contact me), so I hope I'm not one of the ones you were worried about Ray. I honestly didn't expect to be chosen as I figured I've ruffled quite a few feathers around here on various occasions, but I'm glad I was and will do my best not to let you all down.

The reset will cost evo a lot of players, i know of at least half a dozen who will probably not be returning. There will need to be a lot of new features in evo for the new round or we risk loosing a sizeable chunk of the existing player base.

Sooner the better, The round was destroyed when the 1 minute ticks happened.
I can see next round being a defining moment in Evolution history if we see a few changes.
